Early Death in Zoos for Elephants

According to a new study, zoo elephants live a shorter life than wild elephants. The researchers found that African elephants in zoos die when they are about 19 years old. But those in the wild live until 56 years old. Elephants in zoos die from bad health and often die from being in overweight or stressed. Scientists are telling zoos not to take any more new elephants.
